Amplifier 2-6 Watt ini cocok sekali digunakan sebagai penguat audio keluaran dari mp3 atau mp4 player dan cukup untuk "mendrive" speaker stereo kecil dengan hanya menggunakan 1 IC dan beberapa komponen saja. Berikut ini rangkaian dan penjelasan tentang rangkaian ini.

Robot Pencari Cahaya

The circuit is light seeking; it will follow a flashlight around a darkened room. A pair of photocells determine the direction in which the robot will move. Each photocell is connected to an op amp configured as a comparator. When sufticient light falls on photocell R2, the voltage at the inverting input (pin 6) of IC1-a will fall below the voltage at the non-inverting input (pin 5), so the output of the comparator will go high, and transistors Q1 and Q2 will turn on.

LDR I, a cadmium sulphide (CDS) photoresistive cell is used as the lower leg of a voltage divider between VCC and ground. The timer terminals 2 and 6 are connected to the junction of the photocell and SENSITIVITY control Rl. The resistance of the photoresistive cell varies inversely as the light intensity; resistance is high when the illumination level is low; low in bright light. (The Radio Shack CDS cell 276-116 has a typically wide resistance range-about 3 megohms in darkness and 100 ohms in bright light.).

Amplifier 22 Watt

The 22 watt amp is easy to build, and very inexpensive. The circuit can be used as a booster in a car audio system, an amp for satellite speakers in a surround sound or home theater system, or as an amp for computer speakers. The circuit is quite compact and uses only about 60 watts. The circuit is not mine, it came from Popular Electronics.

Notes

This circuit is for a 32 Watt stereo audio power amplifier using the TDA2050¹. With a dual 22 Volt supply this amplifier can deliver 32W into 8 ohm loudspeakers. Moreover, the TDA 2050 delivers typically 50W music power into 4 ohm load over 1 sec at VS= 22.5V and f = 1KHz. The amplifier is cased as a Pentawatt package see pinout below:

The Circuit

Amplifier 40 Watt

Berikut ini adalah rangkaian amplifier yang menggunakan satu IC saja, tetapi dapat memberikan daya hingga 40 watt.

Daya sebesar ini cukup kiranya untuk menguatkan bunyi yang bersumber dari pemutar CD audio, dari ponsel atau iPod.

Chip yang digunakan di sini adalah TDA 1514 yang diperkenalkan pertama kali oleh Phillips / Valvo. Karakteristik terbaik dari chip ini adalah daya keluaran yang cukup tinggi tinggi dan ketahanan. IC ini tersedia dalam paket plastik SIL 9-pin dengan dasar logam untuk di pasangkan dengan heat sink.

Dapat dilihat pada diagram bahwa hanya segelintir elemen pasif diperlukan untuk membangun chip TDA 1514 ini menjadi audio amplifier yang mumpuni J. Catu daya harus mampu memberikan arus minimal 3 ampere. Konsumsi saat ini siaga adalah sekitar 60 mA. Tegangan catu daya tidak boleh melampaui 27,5 volt!.
